Hyper Teachers and Invisible People

When you have a hyper ballroom teacher, that is a sign that all can go horribly awful, or awkwardly well. And in my case, it was somewhere in between. Like when he wouldn't let me go get food or go to the bathroom (which I actually had to do!) and did his horrifying hip moves, that was horribly awful. But when he did cartwheels that were super funny and said stupidly funny jokes, that was the awkwardly well part. And so, in the whole, if your ballroom teacher has ADD, then just avoid giving him any sugar whatsoever (because I'm pretty sure that that's what made him hyper in the first place! Not that I'm saying names or anything but uh...*cough Jr. cough Varsity cough girls*).

And when you're math teacher is in a good mood, take advantage of it!! Go visit the class two doors down, but be warned: Do not, under any circumstances, give your phone to boys under the age of 14. They will watch The Office on Netflix and deplete your battery into nothingness. Unless you're smart, and bring your charger like T. Then during lunch it will be depleted into more nothingness when you try to Skype sick people with T and then also try to see certain sticky notes which M and P are looking at. Which will result in invisible people and getting locked out of buildings:) Story of my life! Haha:)

Then go ahead and give your all in basketball practice, because you know that when you're done, you can go home and get some sleeeeeep. Wonderful, amazing, delightful sleep. And get it done before 10!! Which brings you to your new record of earliest bedtime:)

So enjoy your dreams, and make sure you don't miss the bus tomorrow!!

Brains and Angels and Jars With Mustaches

Lately, my days have begun with going to bed too late, waking up too early, and sleeping in English. Smart moves, right? Especially now that we are beginning the four-page boring reading material with the graphic organizers again. And even maps this time too!! Yippee!! (That was sarcasm, in case you didn't notice;) But school was school, where we put up with high schoolers every day with smiles on our faces and artificial fear behind that. And get wonderful stripey hoop earrings that are HUGE. And have fun!!

But bus rides by far are the best. Especially when you have people jumping over seats and certain people (J) eating other peoples brains (Mine). Oh yes, life is just dandy when you're brain is half-eaten!! And when you see certain people laughing and talking with themselves with Y, whose real name is Z, you realize that maybe the bus is the part of the day that just...makes your day:) For other people too:) I think you know who you are...(Hint hint, P)

And after having amazing bus rides, going to the library is always a great thing to do to!! Especially for the Teen Volunteer Board Meetings, where you can find out a lot about yourself by playing Apples to Apples...haha:) and then after that, going up and down elevators and telling random people things like "We are perfect innocent angels!" That, and cracking up at summary's about "Bella...overwhelming attractions...exquisitely handsome boy...not wholly human...",  and about Goddess Girls in Beast-ology class:) And might I not forget making wall angels while the security guard stares at you like you're a certified whacko. Days of my life right there...*content sigh*

And to end the day off with a wonderful activity at Mutual, where you'll learn that the other Young Women are great actors and wonderful artists:) And then getting jars with mustaches on them. I have the best leaders EVER. But what I want to do is play Monopoly Revolution, which looks like the best game to ever be on the planet and which I really want to play!! Oh triple A batteries, how I long for you!! But yes, all in all, I believe that Brains and Angels and Jars With Mustaches can make your day:)

Faces in the Spaces

Today I learned something very special about my dear friend P. She was emailing me, and I learned that she also has a blog. As I was reading it, I learned a lot of things about not only her, but myself too. It was kind of like reading my life from another persons point of view.

But back to the point, which was, I learned that she is a better person than I ever knew, and that I am kind of stuck up. And self-centered. Ugh, yes, I know, when those two words are put together they are uglier than an elephants backside. But from that, I also learned that I could probably work harder to be a better person.

Starting with P, I'd like you to know that I will try to be a better friend from now on. You are such a good person, and I am so going to work on getting to your level. Keep doing what you're doing, and hey, I'd like to know who that special person was who sits behind you because...well...from my view it's the wall:P But anyway, I love you P!! And I promise that I will try to be a better friend to you.

You know, sometimes in life, it all gets going to fast and you don't even realize when it's happening, but sooner or later you stop thinking and just move on to autopilot. It does happen, and I'm just here to remind you to slow down and take a look at where you are now. How long has it been since you complimented someone who you barely know? Why don't you invite the boy who always eats alone to come eat with you? How long has it been since you've talked to the girl who befriended you on the bus that first day of school?

So, stop and turn around people. Take a look at all the faces in the spaces you recognize and start paying better attention, because I know that I will.

Music

I thought that I'd probably admit that I am not the best singer in the world. But hey, that doesn't mean that I can't do it, right? Well, at least in the privacy of my own bedroom and the locker room;) But to be able to sing along to something means that you have to actually know some songs!
And this is where I was going with this...today my topic is Music. I love most everything mainstream and a few things besides, like pop country and classics like The Beatles and Billie Joel, but music is more than just a random tune. Music expresses what's inside a person. I should know, since I play piano and ukelele and I love to just mess around with different instruments (although put me next to a trumpet and I'm completely hopeless). Since last year, I've listened to music every day. I swear, if the radio was ever shut down, I'd probably cry for a week. Music just makes life sweeter.
So hey guys, my advice to you today is go sing a song!! Or play one, or something. But associate yourself with music everyday. It'll make you a better person:))

Bucket Lists

So today I was on Facebook when I saw my friend's Bucket List pictures. And to be honest, I thought it was pretty legit:)) So, at that moment, I decided that I wanted to create a Bucket list of my own. One item a day. And for motivation, I'll do it here, and I'll post pictures of me actually doing the stuff, so here's my first Bucket List item!!

Twenty-twelve!!

Wow, I can't believe that it's 2012!! It's completely amazing that I've made it to this year. Now all I have to do is cross my fingers and hope for the best.
My 2012 New Year's Resolutions (Haha, I know, cheesy, right?) include being healthy, being helpful, finishing my YW Personal Progress, getting an A in math, and just basically surviving this year in general. Hope they happen!! And for now, life is perfectly great:) I've got everything I could ever ask for, even things that I don't deserve. Like the best friends ever, great grades, and even walking space in my room, but the best part is that I have a wonderful family that supports me in pretty much everything I do. I don't know how I would live without them.
So, sitting here at the computer, writing this, I can only look forward to the rest of the year. School starts up again tomorrow, and I'll be able those crazy people called my friends that I love, so I better get some sleep done!! Good night!!
